Terms of service
Rules for a fair marketplace
The agreement for using Cardnation to browse, list, buy, sell, deliver and resolve issues involving collectible cards.
- Effective
- 10 July 2026
- Last updated
- 10 July 2026
The essentials
- The seller owns and sells each listed card unless Cardnation expressly says otherwise.
- Tap captures buyer payment while Cardnation keeps seller payout unavailable during protection steps. This is not an escrow account or regulated escrow service.
- Delivery costs BHD 1.500. An approved full card-price refund normally excludes that delivery fee, subject to mandatory rights and service-failure exceptions.
- Nothing here removes mandatory Bahrain consumer rights or access to regulators and courts.

Cardnation and these terms
Cardnation is the marketplace name used for this service in the Kingdom of Bahrain. These terms apply to cardnation.bh and the account, listing, cart, checkout, order, delivery, pickup, rating, support and dispute features provided through it.
Any further registered-business identity, registration, address or contact information required by applicable law will be supplied in the relevant transaction record, invoice, notice or customer communication. The currently published customer contact is support@cardnation.bh.
By creating an account, submitting a listing, placing an order or otherwise using a transaction feature, you agree to these terms and the linked Privacy Policy. Electronic acceptance and records may be used as evidence of the agreement where permitted by Bahrain law. If you do not agree, do not use the transaction features.
Eligibility and accounts
Cardnation is intended for people aged 18 or older who are legally capable of entering the relevant marketplace transaction. A person under 18 must not create an account, list a card or place an order.
- Provide accurate and current account, identity and contact information.
- Protect your sign-in method and verification codes, and notify support promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.
- Do not impersonate another person or create duplicate or misleading accounts to evade a restriction.
- Use your account only for lawful activity and remain responsible for activity authorised through it, subject to rights that applicable law gives you.
How the marketplace works
Cardnation provides a marketplace and transaction-support service. Unless a listing expressly identifies Cardnation as the seller, the seller owns and sells the card, and the sale agreement for that card is between the buyer and seller. Cardnation remains responsible for its own marketplace services and for duties that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Listing review checks submission requirements and visible information before a listing becomes active. It is not a professional authentication or grading service and is not a guarantee of authenticity, legal title, grading accuracy, certificate validity, future value or suitability for a particular collection.
Seller responsibilities
- Own the card or have clear legal authority to sell it, and ensure it is not stolen, counterfeit, a proxy or materially altered.
- Select the correct game and catalog record and accurately state the card name, set, number, language, edition, condition, defects, grade and certificate information.
- Upload current front and back photos of the exact card being offered, not a sample or a different copy.
- Keep public photos free of faces, identity documents, private addresses, payment information and unrelated personal data.
- Set an honest price, keep the card available and tell Cardnation promptly if availability changes before a sale.
- Provide valid Bahrain contact, pickup and payout information and cooperate with review, handoff, delivery, return and dispute requests.
- Do not move an accepted Cardnation order off-platform to avoid the agreed transaction process or seller fee.
- Comply with applicable licensing, tax, consumer-protection, intellectual-property and other legal duties that apply to you or the sale.
Cardnation may approve, reject, pause, correct or remove a listing where information is incomplete, misleading, unsafe, unlawful or inconsistent with these terms. Review does not transfer the seller's responsibility for the card or description to Cardnation.
Buying and order formation
Buyers should inspect the complete listing, condition notes, proof photos, seller context, delivery or pickup choice and final price before checkout. The condition of a collectible card can involve judgement, but a counterfeit, wrong card, undisclosed material defect or material mismatch remains eligible for review.
- A card in a cart is not guaranteed until checkout successfully reserves it.
- You cannot purchase your own listing.
- The order remains pending until the payment provider reliably confirms successful payment.
- If payment fails, is cancelled or cannot be created, the order can be cancelled and the card can return to the marketplace.
- If a card becomes unavailable or was reserved first by another checkout, Cardnation may reject or cancel the attempted order.
Prices and fees
All marketplace amounts are shown in Bahraini dinars. The item subtotal, delivery charge and buyer total displayed before payment are the amounts that apply to that order, subject to correction of an obvious error before payment.
- The current minimum card subtotal for an order is BHD 2.000.
- The current delivery charge is BHD 1.500 when delivery is selected.
- Eligible local pickup currently has no delivery charge.
- The current operational fee is 1% of the listed card subtotal and is deducted from the seller's proceeds. It is not added as a separate buyer charge.
Cardnation may change fees for future listings or orders. A changed fee applies only when it is clearly shown before the seller submits the listing or the buyer places the order. It does not retrospectively change an accepted transaction.
Any eBay price references shown beside a card come from similar active third-party listings and are provided only as a research aid. They are asking prices, not completed-sale evidence, an appraisal, a guarantee of authenticity or value, or an endorsement of the external seller. eBay's own terms and privacy practices apply when you open an external result.
Payment and seller-payout protection
Tap Payments processes Benefit and card payments through its hosted payment flow. Cardnation does not store complete card details. A payment is treated as successful only after Cardnation receives reliable confirmation from Tap.
After payment is captured, Cardnation keeps the seller payout unavailable while buyer confirmation or dispute steps remain open. This is a marketplace protection workflow. It is not a bank account, deposit, trust account, regulated escrow service or an escrow product offered by Tap.
Seller proceeds become eligible for payout after buyer confirmation or a dispute resolution that authorises release. Eligibility does not guarantee immediate receipt by the seller's bank or Benefit account, because operational checks and banking processing can still apply.
Delivery, pickup and inspection
Available delivery or pickup options, address requirements and charges are shown during checkout. Buyers and sellers must provide accurate contact and location details, cooperate with the selected handoff method and avoid conduct that puts another person or property at risk.
Inspect the card promptly when it is delivered or collected. Keep the card, sleeve, packaging and delivery evidence in their received state until you confirm quality or any dispute is resolved. Follow the actions and dates shown on the order page.
Cancellations, returns, refunds and disputes
A failed payment, seller unavailability, duplicate sale, material listing problem or lawful Cardnation intervention may cancel an order. If money was captured, any refund due will be initiated through the original payment method where practicable.
Because cards are individual collectibles, a change of mind alone is not automatically a mismatch. This does not limit a mandatory consumer right or a claim involving a counterfeit, wrong, missing, damaged or materially misdescribed card.
- Open a dispute through the order page as soon as possible while the transaction is still available for review.
- Describe the issue honestly and provide clear photos, packaging or delivery evidence when requested.
- Do not alter, grade, resell, transfer or dispose of a disputed card before the review is complete.
- Cooperate with a reasonable request for more evidence, a tracked return or another proportionate step needed to decide the case.
After reviewing the available evidence, Cardnation may approve a full or partial refund, authorise seller payout, require a return, or apply another remedy required by law. An approved full refund of the card amount excludes the BHD 1.500 delivery fee, which is non-refundable after delivery has been accepted for fulfilment. This does not limit a mandatory right or prevent Cardnation from refunding that fee when the charged delivery service was not provided. Return costs depend on the resolution and applicable law.
Refunds can require additional processing time from Tap, the payment network or the receiving bank. Cardnation's internal review does not remove a party's right to use a competent regulator, court or other remedy available under Bahrain law.
Prohibited conduct
- Selling counterfeit, proxy, stolen, unlawfully obtained or materially altered cards.
- Misrepresenting condition, grade, certificate, ownership, availability, location, price or transaction evidence.
- Manipulating prices, ratings, views, search results, inventory or disputes.
- Harassing, threatening, impersonating or discriminating against another person.
- Publishing another person's private data or using transaction details for an unrelated purpose.
- Introducing malware, probing for unauthorised access, bypassing security or payment controls, or disrupting the service.
- Using automated collection in a way that overloads, copies protected content from, or interferes with Cardnation.
- Using Cardnation for fraud, money laundering, unlawful payments or any activity prohibited by Bahrain law.
Cardnation may preserve evidence and report suspected unlawful activity to the appropriate provider or competent authority where required or lawfully permitted.
Content and intellectual property
Cardnation owns or licenses its brand, interface, original text, software and marketplace design. Card names, card art, game marks, grading marks and catalog material can belong to their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply sponsorship or endorsement.
You keep ownership of content you submit. You grant Cardnation a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence for as long as reasonably needed to host, copy, resize, display, moderate and communicate that content for marketplace operation, listing promotion, transaction support, dispute evidence, security and legal compliance.
You confirm that you have the right to submit the content and that it does not infringe another person's rights. Send a rights complaint to support@cardnation.bh with your identity, the protected work or right, the listing or URL, the basis of the complaint and reliable contact details.
Privacy and transaction information
Cardnation's Privacy Policy explains what data is collected, which listing details become public, how transaction details are shared, how long records are kept and how to exercise privacy rights.
A buyer or seller who receives another person's name, phone number, address or order information may use it only for the relevant Cardnation transaction, safety, support or a legal obligation. It must not be published, marketed, sold or used to contact the person for an unrelated purpose.
Listing removal and account restriction
Cardnation may reject or remove content, limit a feature, pause a payout, suspend an account or close access where reasonably necessary to address fraud, counterfeit goods, a security risk, a legal request, repeated complaints, non-payment or a material breach of these terms. Urgent protective action may occur without advance notice.
Where appropriate, Cardnation will explain the action and allow relevant information to be provided. Restriction or closure does not cancel obligations connected with an existing order, refund, payout, dispute, investigation or lawful record-retention duty.
Service availability and changes
Cardnation may maintain, correct, improve, suspend or discontinue a feature. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, but we will take reasonable care with active transactions and will not use a service change to remove rights already accrued under an accepted order.
We may update these terms when the service or law changes. The dates at the top identify the current version. Material changes will be notified before they apply where required, and a change will not retrospectively rewrite an accepted transaction unless the law requires it or every affected party agrees.
Responsibility and consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a mandatory consumer right or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability arising from fraud or another matter that Bahrain law does not permit a business to limit.
Subject to those protections, Cardnation is not responsible for a change in collectible value, a buyer's personal collecting decision, or a seller statement that Cardnation could not reasonably verify through the marketplace review. Each party remains responsible for losses caused by its own breach, fraud, unlawful conduct or misuse of another person's rights.
Bahrain law, complaints and language
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The competent Bahrain courts and authorities may hear a dispute, subject to any mandatory right or procedure available to a consumer. You can contact support first, but doing so does not prevent you from contacting the Consumer Protection Directorate or another competent authority.
The English and Arabic versions are intended to communicate the same terms. If wording differs, it must be interpreted consistently with mandatory Bahrain law and consumer rights. A translation difference does not remove a right that the law provides.
Mandatory rights come first
These terms organise the marketplace. They do not waive any consumer protection, refund, privacy or court right that Bahrain law makes mandatory.
